Meet the Director

My name is Ms. Marcy. I am the Director of Leander Littles and the Lead Teacher. I graduated with a degree in elementary education with an emphasis on early childhood development. I have taught elementary school for 19 years, 18 being in Leander ISD. 2 years ago I resigned from teaching to pursue my dream. This preschool is my passion, and I am grateful for the opportunity to do what I love.

Meet Mr. Scott

I have been blessed with a very supportive husband. Mr. Scott helps me part time and also works for Leander ISD serving as a school bus driver, and training new recruits to drive school buses in the commercial driver program .

He is a great qualified candidate for our field trips and assisting me in the classroom. He currently holds a para educators certificate, chauffeur's permit and a class A commercial license with several endorsements. He is also known as the "fun guy" by the Littles!

Meet Our Children

Reagan is our 15 year old Daughter . She is on the Liberty Hill Dance Team ,is a member of the National Jr. Honor Society , and an honorary employee at Leander Littles : ) Her current interests are dance, socializing, and being a part of our church youth group.

Mason is our 10 year old son and he is off to 5th grade this year. He is currently active in Scouting and is a part of the Liberty Hill Panther Reading Club. He is also an AB Honor Roll student. His current interests are theater, Scouts, video games and yes.... Muscle Cars : )

My husband and I highly recommend Leander Littles as your child’s home away from home and a place for learning. Being retired educators from LISD we know what a quality pre-school should look like. Because of Marcy’s background as a certified teacher and years spent in a kindergarten classroom she is able to meet the needs of all her “littles”. Marcy is very loving, patient and very knowledgeable of pre-school curricula. She has the training and expertise to handle any situation that might arise so you can be confident that your little is in good hands. We are blessed that our granddaughter, Laney, has the opportunity to learn and grow in such a wonderful place.

In creating Leander Littles, Miss Marcy managed to successfully captured everything I had hoped for in a preschool for my two boys.

Academically speaking, Miss Marcy’s extensive background in education has been clearly evident in my oldest son’s excellent preparation for kindergarten. Not only has he learned foundational knowledge that will serve him well in kindergarten, he’s also grown in his confidence and love of learning. Plus, thanks to Mr. Scott, he’s even able to recite the Pledge of Allegiance!

The social growth we’ve seen in both boys has been equally remarkable. In our time at Leander Littles, our family has navigated potty training, “kind hands”, sharing, and several other struggles that come with being little and learning about the world. Every step of the way, Miss Marcy has supported our boys with grace, kindness, understanding, persistence, and patience.

Miss Marcy’s dedication to educating the whole child through Christ-centered guidance and a boundless love for her Littles is evident when you walk through the door. It’s also what truly sets Leander Littles above the rest.

Within Leander Littles, I’ve found a safe and caring environment for my kids to thrive in and my boys have found a “home away from home” where they’re welcomed and loved like family. What more could a parent possibly hope for?

The Chatfield Family

Our family feels so blessed to have found Leander Littles as our kids “home away from home”. We have tried several different daycares in the past (schools, in-homes, mothers day out), but from the moment we walked in the door, we knew Leander Littles was different. Ms Marcy and Mr Scott truly have a heart for children. Every day that we send our kiddos to school, we know that they are safe, that they are loved, and that they are learning – not only academics, but also how to be good humans. They love playing outside, singing songs in the learning room, going on field trips in the big van, and spending time with their friends. They even get excited for the monthly parents night out (and my husband and I get excited for that too!). We can’t thank the Hoyt family enough for all that they do!

I cannot express how appreciative I am for the entire Hoyt family. Our kids have some disabilities and trauma in the past and required additional love and attention Ms. Marcy never gave up on them and worked diligently to to get them prepared for school. Her family loved them through difficult transitions and never gave up on them. Our kids grew so much socially and emotionally. Ms. Marcy and Mr. Scott saw through their tough exterior and found the beautiful children they are. We love the family like environment ,bible teaching and foundation that was provided . This place is fantastic and we could not be happier .

There honestly isn’t enough time in the day to really explain how amazing Mrs. Marcy and her family are. I know that when I send my son there each day, he is going to grow- both academically and as a person. My son has now been at Leander Littles for a little over a year and learned so much in that time. The best part is how much he LOVES school and Mrs. Marcy and her family. The entire family truly has a heart of gold and loves kids. They all are interactive and integral in teaching them, but Mrs. Marcy really is amazing. She helped my son with potty training, patience and kindness with friends, sharing and learning about Christ. Not to mention, he has learned so much academically and continues to surprise us daily with his knowledge. Each day when I take him to school, I know he will be loved, cherished and respected; I know without a doubt that he is safe. It makes me sad that this will be our last year at Leander Littles and I just wish we had found this school sooner. Thank you, Mrs. Marcy, Mr. Scott, Reagan and Mason for loving and nurturing our precious boy so wonderfully.
